Community Hero Spotlight
We are honored to spotlight Ms. KeShyra Hill-Brown as one of our Community Heroines!
Born into a large military family, KeShyra learned early on that family and genuine connections were everything. Moving around a lot exposed KeShyra to a wide range of cultural awareness after living in the Middle East and Europe.
After graduating high school in Waldorf, MD; she decided to pursue a degree in Biology at Bowie State University and plans to join the United States Air Force.
While being a full-time student, KeShyra joined pageantry to raise awareness about homeless teens and bring light to children of incarcerated parents. KeShyra has held the titles of Miss Charles County (MD) twice, Miss NAACP for the 2020-2021 academic school year, Miss Maryland International 2020, and now Miss Virginia International for her community efforts around the Washington DC, Maryland & Virginia (DMV) area.
